Inflatable Home Party VS Inflatable Arena Party

If you have ever thought about renting an inflatable game for a child's party, chances are you have come across one of the indoor inflatable arenas that have recently popped up.

Why choose an Inflatable Home Party over going to a facility?

  1. You choose location. You control what setting you would like to have for your party. At home, at a favorite park, at a community center, at a friend or relatives home.

  2. You choose food, beverage and snacks. You control what your children eat. Many times children's party facilities offer just pizza and a non-juice artificial drink.

  3. You choose the time and date. You control how long you want the party to last. 2 hours, 8 hours, 24 hours, the price is the same. You control the date. No date restrictions. Equipment is available anytime, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  4. You choose your budget. You control how much to spend on equpment, food, goodie bags, extras, decorations. Children's party facilities usually have pre made packages you have to adhere to.

  5. You choose the size of the party. You have total control on the amount of people to invite. Whether it is 10 or 100, if you have the space, you decide. If you have people RSVP at the last minute, there's room for them. Facilities have minimums and maximums- some as low as 25 guests. They need a head count in advance and may not allow changes close to the party date.

  6. Last minute party? You have options! Book the day before your event if you need to. There will always be something available that you and your guests will love. Facilities are many times booked well in advance.

  7. Privacy. You control the privacy of your party. You decide who attends. Facilities may have more than one party at a time or have open play time when your party is scheduled.

The choice is yours. Choosing Portland PartyWorks is choosing options, value, service and most of all FUN!!!

Sensational Sporting Events!

Sporting events are a lot of fun. Whether professional, amateur, college, school, adult or youth community sports, it is a great way to spend some time with friends and family.

Sitting on the edge of your seat watching a player make that impossible shot, your favorite team coming back from what you thought was sure to be a loss, or your child sliding into home for the first time are all moments you'll want to remember. What if there was a sure way to imprint that special sporting event onto your spectators. There is! Get them involved!

Have you ever been to a Portland Trailblazer game? What do they do at halftime? They get the fans pumped up and interacting. The Portland Trailblazers and Rose Garden arena have used the ever popular Sumo Wrestling game to entertain as well as Double Shot Basketball and Inflatable Hoops to name a few.
Many sporting events held at PGE Park utilize sports themed bounce equipment to make the outing extra special for children. Little Leagues love the All Star Sports 5 in 1 Combo Unit as well as the Speed Pitch Cage and the All New T-Ball Extreme.

The ultimate in spectator interaction at your sporting event is the Sports Center Coliseum. This huge arena is great for a pumped up game of Basketball, Football, Volleyball- you name it!

School Carnival Time!

Spring is on its way and with it comes the tradition of the school carnival. Carnivals are a great way for students, families and faculty to come together and celebrate. Whether it is used to boost school spirit, as a fundraiser, a community service event, or educational spotlight, your carnival can shine.

Some tips when planning a school carnival:

1. Outline your main objective.

2. Make a time line.

3. Set up committees.

4. Recruit volunteers.

5. Plan and ready entertainment, games, prizes, food, decorations and supplies.

6. Form a day of event schedule.

7. Have fun!

Think back to when you were a kid. What did you love about a carnival. Lots of games and prizes? The smell of cotton candy and popcorn? Having your face painted? A clown making balloon animals? All of this and more are a part of what makes a great carnival.

Red and white stripe booths full of games like bean bag toss, ring toss, pick a pop, duck pond, tic tac toe, ball roll and plinko are a great way to make a carnival come alive. A high striker gives an authentic midway feel with its classic bell ring after the hammer falls. Pucker Powder Candy Art is a yummy treat to add along with fresh popped popcorn and newly spun cotton candy. Add a bounce house to round it out and the kids will be busy for hours. Traditional elements such as Bingo and a cake walk are fun too!

Start planning now!

Theme Parties Pack a Punch!

How many parties have you been to that you really remember days, weeks or even months after the fun ended? If you want your friends and colleagues to talk about what a great party you had long after its over, think about a theme party. Continuity of a theme leaves a solid impression on your guests. It gets them involved right from the beginning and carries them through to the end. A fun theme idea in tune with the big blockbuster pirates movies is to create a pirate theme adventure party. Adults and children alike will take to swashbuckling and walking the plank with ease with a few creative ideas. A huge attraction like the Treasure of the Caribbean Obstacle Course will make a big impression with its oversize skull, parrott and trasure chest. This is a great visual piece as the focal point of the event. Take to the seas in the Buccaneer Pirate Adventure all in one unit for that authentic pirate ship look and feel. Under the Sea Bounce and Slide takes care of your little deck hands, and round it out with the Hooks Treasure Carnival Game. This carnival game is a great way to give out all those pirate themed prizes and souveniers everyone loves to have after a party. Of course this is just one example. Maybe a western theme is more to your liking? How about a water themed party on a hot summer day? Do you love cars and racing? The ideas are endless. Whatever your interest, there is always a great party out there just waiting to be planned for you.
